The Medical Profession is a prolific user of acronyms, the aim of this site is to provide a database of acronyms and their meanings.
Beware acronyms can be context sensitive dependant upon the environment. To some DOA means Date of Admission to others it may mean Dead on Arrival, so the context of use must be considered.
